My Process...
Every holder starts as a block of raw black resin. I cast the figure first, then spend the better part of a night sanding down the seam lines by hand until you can't feel where the mold was. The face is the part I won't rush — every mask gets painted with a brush the width of a toothpick, one coat at a time, until the white sits right against the black. The candle tray goes on last, leveled by eye and checked with a light. Most of what makes it feel real, you'll only notice once the candle's lit and the shadows move across the face. That's on purpose.
